The rose dog is the wild rose. It grows in shrubs, as wild flora, in lowland and hillside areas, in temperate climates. Its fruit, called rosehip, has many uses, from medicinal teas to rosehip paste.
The rose dog honey is a very scarce type o honey and has a weak to medium flavour. Its odour is slightly pungent and the aroma poorly defined. It is sweeter than most types of honey. It remains liquid for a long time, with a red-orange colour that opens up as the crystallization process begins.
