As lemon groves are much smaller than orange groves, monofloral lemon honey is also more difficult to produce. Honey made from several types of citrus is often marketed as orange blossom honey, but it also contains nectar/pollen from lemon or mandarin blossoms.

It is an aromatic, floral, very smooth, creamy honey. It crystallizes quickly, turning pale yellow, almost white.
