Bergamot Blossom Honey

Bergamot honey is the rarest of the citrus blossom honeys, as bergamot plantations are relatively small. Larger areas are in Calabria and Sicily, where this type of honey also usually comes from. Genetic studies have shown that bergamots are most probably a hybrid between lemon and bitter orange.

Bergamot honey is aromatic, floral, very smooth and creamy. It crystallizes quickly, turning pale yellow in colour.
